Hispania. Geografía, Etnología, Historia (1920) fue el primer libro de Adolf Schulten, nuestro ­Schliemann, publicado en nuestro país. La edición incluía un amplio apéndice sobre «La arqueología prerromana hispánica» del profesor Pedro Bosch Gimpera. Dado que Schulten no sólo fue un gran historiador y arqueólogo sino también el más intuitivo e informado de los geógrafos que han estudiado nunca la España prerromana, la actual edición de este libro sigue manteniendo, a pesar de los casi cien años transcurridos desde su primera salida, un innegable interés. En esta misma editorial se han publicado también Tartessos, el más reconocido de sus libros y la muy novelesca ?pero rigurosa? biografía del general romano Sertorio. adolf schulten (Elberfeld, 1870-Erlangen, 1960), historiador, filólogo y arqueólogo alemán. Doctor en Geología por la Universidad de Bonn (1892), hizo excavaciones en Italia, África y Grecia, para centrar más tarde su investigación en España, de la que pronto se convirtió en un apasionado. Como hispanista, aparte de la monumental Fontes Hispaniae Antiquae y de sus biografías de Viriato y Sertorio, aparecida esta última en Renacimiento en 2013, merecen destacarse, por haberse publicado con éxito en nuestro país, Numancia (1914), Los cántabros y su lucha contra Roma (1914) y Tartessos, la más influyente, reeditada en esta editorial en 2006.
